I'm Heading To GDC, Are You?
Saturday, September 20 2008 - gdc-2008
You may not believe it but GDC 2007 is right around the corner. I'll be heading out to San Francisco the entire week of February 18th to attend some great sessions and chat a little about XNA Game Studio. We have some cool sessions that we're working on for GDC this year. As we get a schedule together I'll be sure to post on the XNA Team Blog letting everyone know exactly what those sessions are. I'm hoping that the information should be available in the next week or two.
Hopefully you're heading out to GDC too. Not only is it a great chance to get to learn some cool stuff (Especially about XNA Game Studio!) it's a great time to reconnect with old co-workers from previous endeavors and meet new people. I enjoy trying to sit down with groups of people I don't know at GDC and just listen to what people are talking about and are excited about. It's a great time to connect with people from "the industry" especially if you are just starting out. If you are attending hopefully I'll run into you to say hi.
If you can't make it this year, let me know what information you'd like to hear because I will be more than happy to post photos and information on my blog as the show goes on. All you need to do is let me know!

I'll be there... I hear that there may actually be more than 10 managed developers attending this year so there is a chance I won't have to defend garbage collection every day at lunch ;-)
Cya there
Doh! Yes I meant GDC 2008. I'm stuck in the past or something.

I'd love to, but cannot attend this year :(

The tutorial conferences are what I should be focusing my attention if I were there (XNA and shaders, mainly).
Also, I don't know whether you'll be attending those summits, but posting info and photos on the Casual Games and Independent Games summits would be great!
Good luck on the "XNA Game Studio Developer Day", man.

BTW, don't you mean GDC 2008?
